About Us

Researchers investigate diverse human diseases and conditions. Areas of expertise include diabetes and metabolism, aging and muscle health, vascular inflammation and thrombosis, immunity, hematology, hematopoiesis, cardiovascular disease, and addiction behavior.

Our Program encompasses a broad range of departments within the School of Medicine, and College of Health. Investigators are housed in Eccles Institute of Human Genetics (EIHG), Wintrobe Research Building, and the Cardiovascular Research & Training Institute (CVRTI).
